Snow Leopard running fast on the Macintosh
Two things are much faster on my Macintosh since I upgraded to Snow Leopard durning the summer.- System starts up much faster.
- Safari web browser is lightning fast for navigating from page to page.
One thing that is slower in Safari is opening a new tab. That is because it is opening a page of thumbnails of my favorite site.
I might disable this feature since 95 percent of the time that I open a new tab, I do not want to use the thumbnails to get there. Plus, I can always pull up the thumbnails page with a different command when I want to actually use it. Right now, it just slows me down in what otherwise has become a very fast web browser.
